It's not working. My last Weekly update stated that things needed to change because I have been trading two years now, and I am still not profitable. Why not? My strategy works (let me finish, because I am well aware an argument could be made to the contrary considering I am not profitable), in certain situations. It provides me with good entry and exit points, good risk management, good signals. But that's just it. It only works in certain situations. If the market is in an indecisive trading range kind of mood, it will whipsaw me in and out of positions and the losses can quickly mount up with no way to make them back (FTS). So off the back of another losing week, it's time I was truthful with myself and make some much needed changes.
I have always said that in my opinion and great trader is a flexible trader, one who can adapt their strategy to their assessment of the market. If am to become a great trader, and more importantly, make my living from this, then I need to add some flexibility to my repertoire.
