I'm serious. There's nothing to see. No a single trade was taken this last week and neither have I looked at the markets. The only thing I did was to open Tom Hougaard's Telegram group to see how he did each day.
I needed that week off. I needed to be away from the markets. I was beginning to put way too much pressure on myself and my trading. Every little loss or misstep simply magnified that pressure and the feeling of failure. I missed it don't get me wrong. In fact, I am about to go back through the week to see what I could've had, had I traded and followed my strategy. And also to prepare for the coming Monday when I will be back at the charts. Only, I'll be back with a clearer mind, a focussed mind. There will be no pressure applied, no expectation. But I will be more patient. In fact that is my primary focus for this coming week is to be patient. If it means I miss a move here and there, then so be it, because the points are not important, the mindset is. And patience is a very large part of having the correct mindset in my opinion.
As someone who is vastly more experienced than me once said -
"Super human patience is what makes money in trading."
