As the title suggests it was indeed a good week. I booked a win which is always good, but more importantly I traded really well. I was more patient than before and on one of the day elected to not trade the FTSE at all due to it's rangebound inactivity. Also, I elected to scalp on occasion due to the appearance of the market which is a step in the right direction as I feel I am not taking full advantage of situations, especially if it's in a trading range and I am not get my usual signals. I'm looking to work more on my scalping but the hardest part for me, is dealing with scalpers remorse. That feeling of regret when you watch the market moving further in your favour, only you closed the trade a while ago. But when you think about it, this leads back to what I am trying to imbed into my subconscious, as my main trading belief -
My job when I trade is to make points. But I must remember, I don't have to make ALL the points.
Easier said than done and something I feel I will need to work on accepting each and every week until it really does become second nature to me, but something I feel is very important to enable me to progress in my trading.
