Friday was the last trading day of 2022 and what an eventful 7 months it has been since that first trade back on 20th May. I have learnt so much. I've changed completely from the trader I was looking like becoming when this journey first started, and I can say with hand on heart, I am so grateful that I have. I still have such a long, long way to go to achieve my goal of trading full time, but now I have that all important experience, and even more important than that, I have the blueprint of the trader I want to be and it's up to me to create myself from that blueprint, and become the trader I know I can be.
I've also included a screen shot showing my biggest single trade of the year so far. A hair under 40 points (£19.80 at £0.50 per point). Not only that but you can also see the losing trade I was not afraid to take right after. I accepted and predefined my risk, I didn't hesitate, and I executed the trade and accepted the outcome. This is proper trading. The trade after that though was a different story as the 'fearful' trader in me closed it much too soon because I was afraid of giving back profits, only to watch it turn around and head off in my original direction, but as I said, I still have a long, long way to go, only now I know where it is I'm going.
Happy New Year to anyone that actually follows this blog, and may all your winners run and run, and your losers pull up lame.
